Ditching planes for trains: How much CO2 could you save?

We know that per minute and per mile, flying is the most carbon-polluting action we can take. And, with no ‘sustainable air travel’ options available, our only option for addressing the harmful impact of air travel is simply to fly less. However, this doesn't need to mean stopping traveling altogether. We are incredibly lucky in the UK that so many amazing places are accessible by train which creates significantly less carbon emissions than flying.
