Sarah Howden
I’m Head of Sustainable Consumption at Possible, where I oversee our Fixing Factories electronics repair project and develop new work covering food and the circular economy. Every day, I see people roll up their sleeves to help their neighbours save money by fixing their broken stuff. I want to help scale and showcase this work, proving that climate action can improve our lives right now.
I am on the steering group for the Climate Coalition, and an advisor for the SKY Girls campaign in Kenya, which uses storytelling and media to help adolescent girls thrive. Before Possible, I spent five years as a sustainability consultant, supporting organisations to have a positive impact on nature and society.
I live in Yorkshire, and outside work I love to explore the countryside, sing, and write poetry about animals.
