Ride the Change to COP26: 175 people cycle 475-miles to inspire climate action.

Ride the Change is a social bike ride with a big mission.

Right now, we’re part of a group of over 200 people cycling from London to Glasgow for the COP26 climate summit.

Together, we have three aims:

1. Build a community of climate champions, through the shared challenge of the ride.

2. Experiencing the positive impact we can all have through encouraging our friends and family to take their own climate action.

3. Influence leaders by sharing the story of the ride, the communities we pass through, and the carbon savings we inspire.

Instead of raising money, riders are raising sponsorship in the form of climate action pledges such as switching their energy supplier or recycling more, ensuring the ride leaves a legacy of instigating and inspiring sustainable behaviour change.

So far, our community of riders has inspired 4,043 people to climate action pledges. This will collectively mitigate a massive 164,098 kgs of carbon emissions! That is equivalent to 1,478 flights from Glasgow to Amsterdam.  If you want to support our riders by making your own pledge for climate action check our Do Nation leaderboard.

This is the biggest ride that Do Nation and Adventure Uncovered have ever organised and people from the NHS, Arup, Unilever, AECOM, C-Capture, Leap Eco, CRA, Anthesis, Abel & Cole, Brompton and Lego will be joining legs of the journey as well.

The event is a collaboration between Possible, Do Nation, Adventure Uncovered, Brake the Cycle and Arup with headline sponsor Abel & Cole, silver sponsor Symprove and bronze sponsors, Cayley Coughtrie and AECOM.
