Another month, another set of wins for the climate.

March is here and we’re feeling good about it. Here at Possible, 2026 is setting up to be our biggest year of climate action - the climate wins just keep coming. So before we fully shut the door on winter, let’s celebrate four climate wins from February.

1. We’ve got 100 MPs to sign the Repair and Reuse Declaration.

Repairing broken electronics instead of throwing them out cuts costs for households, cuts waste and cuts carbon emissions. But it’s not always easy to do (companies intentionally make it difficult to fix their products). Last week Sarah reached out to everyone on our email list asking you to help us get politicians to show their support for a list of policies which will make repair easier and cheaper for all of us. Thank you to all of you who emailed your MP - it worked - a total of 100 MPs have now signed!

2. We saved 800kg of e-waste.

Our Fixing Factory volunteers have been busy. Together, we’re taking action to turn the tide on one of the fastest growing waste streams: electronic waste. And it’s working. We’ve just learned that in the last six months alone we’ve saved 800kg of waste through our repairs - amounting to 10 tonnes of CO2! And with two new Fixing Factory sites opening this month, our impact is growing all the time.

3. Airlines now have to be upfront about their climate impact.

For years, Ali and the aviation team have been campaigning to stop airlines from hiding their climate impact and deceiving the public about their (lack of) sustainability. A few weeks ago we received good news - from now on, airlines and booking firms must include the flight’s carbon emissions in the information given to the customer when they are making a booking. We'll be doing more to hold airlines to account for greenwashing claims very soon. Watch this space.

4. We spent a day at City Hall pushing for bolder climate action in the capital.

Last month our campaigns team headed to City Hall as part of the London Assembly Environment Committee’s roundtable event. There, they made the case for greener streets, a stronger circular economy, and an end to airport expansion as well as other practical steps to decarbonise the UK’s capital. It was an exciting event, filled with hope for change - now we’ll do everything we can to make sure it leads to real action.

Another amazing month, thank you for everything you do to support our work.

Let’s keep it up!
