What if London’s lost river could be used as a low-carbon source of heating and cooling for the buildings above them? 

Through a combination of energy efficiency measures and the use of water-source heat pumps, we have an incredible opportunity to lower energy costs, carbon emissions and improve our energy resilience. 

The report gives an overview of a typical development process for a water-source heat pump project, and showcases five sites in London where this concept could become a reality.
