Izzy Romilly

I work on a variety of sustainable transport projects, with charities, unions and other groups on campaigns which aim to bring the idea of a just transition to life. I'm passionate about inclusive climate action that gives people more choice about how they travel - like making walking and cycling safer, improving public transport, or making electric cars more affordable for those who rely on a car. I'm a trustee of the London Cycling Campaign, and I'm especially passionate about gender and accessibility in transport planning.

Some of my current projects include Hot Wheels, investigating transport choices and the use safe cycle infrastructure among food delivery workers; and the Going Car Free Challenge, which is a positive, supportive invitation to regular drivers in UK cities to try something new.

Outside work, you'll find me cooking up a storm, exploring London by bike or trying and failing to make my own clothes.
